Edit: As is the case in long relationships, sometimes you get along better, and sometimes things just don't work out. We recently got a new contact person and now everything is fine again ;) We have been using resmio for the sixth year now and are still very satisfied. The biggest plus point is the cost factor - at first perhaps a little more expensive than "the big competitors" - but in retrospect much cheaper, as there are no additional placement fees per guest. The second biggest plus point is that "your guest data" stays with your restaurant and nobody tries to direct your guests to other (reservation) platforms. We have no regrets about switching from the market leader to resmio. However, the poor guest management is sub-optimal, as "your" customer file can only be processed very sparsely. Customers who register with different email addresses or have reserved once with an office telephone number / once with a cell phone number cannot (yet?) be merged. Which becomes all the more annoying the longer you use the system:( With almost 25,000 contacts, it is becoming increasingly difficult to recognize duplicates.

EDIT: 2023/2024 The system went down in the middle of the Christmas business. Guests were standing in front of the door with reservations "confirmed by us" without the reservations being displayed anywhere... without us still having seats available. When asked, we were told that the error had been "passed on to IT and rectified" - unfortunately a lie. For the Christmas holidays, guests were able to make reservations in the fully booked restaurant without us seeing it! An absolute no-go! Guests who arrive at Christmas with their family and a "confirmed reservation" but without a table will never come back. 🤬 Unfortunately, it was also not possible to speak to someone in charge.

Edit: Resmio had a "system update" (I think something went wrong) whereby guests (Christmas time!) could book in without us seeing it! An absolute no-go when guests are standing there with a confirmed reservation without us knowing anything about it - without us having any space! :( We have been using resmio for more than four years and are still very satisfied. Customers who register with different email addresses or have reserved once with an office phone number / once with a cell phone number cannot (yet?) be merged. The longer you use the system, the more difficult this becomes:( With over 14,000 contacts (thanks to Corona) it is becoming increasingly difficult to recognize duplicates. The reporting system, which is actually a nice tool, could also be improved a little. Complaints, for example, are displayed for the day on which the review was submitted - and not for the day on which the guest was in the hotel (although the reservation system recognizes the data) Only the programmer knows why this is the case :(

Addendum from 18.09.2023: Very nice targeted phone call from the management of Resmio. The interface configuration and discrepancies are resolved immediately. We have been registered with Resmio since October 2017 and until the beginning of 2023 we only used the basic version, free of charge, to receive reservations online via our homepage. Since May 2023, we have switched to the premium version at a proud €916.09 annual fee because we wanted to use the telephone reservation interface via a voice assistant which Resmio offers in cooperation with the company Vitas for additional fees. Since our older telephone system was not compatible with this, we bought a new, up-to-date telephone system and had it installed properly so that we could use the full Resmio services in the Premium package. The voice-based table reservations worked for exactly 4 days. Since then, we have been in constant contact with Customer Support and have only ever been put off with emails saying that Resmio's IT department is "on it". Although guests can communicate with the voice assistant and make table reservations, nothing is entered in Resmio, but the guest receives a confirmation. (when forwarded). In May and June 2023, this led to numerous overbookings, dissatisfied guests and additional expenses for us. As a result, we switched off the voice assistant again and switched to manual table reservations so that such overbookings no longer occur. The company Resmio advertises on its website that it saves time and personnel costs, but this is probably not the case as we now have to pick up the phone again ourselves. However, this should not be the rule, we have explicitly stayed with Resmio as a provider in order to be able to use this additional function. Resmio has not yet granted or mentioned any kind of goodwill or similar waiver. I am looking forward to a targeted response and statement from Resmio.
