Challenge

In the banking sector, there is a plethora of solutions that enhance the customer experience, address new target groups and improve business processes. However, banks need their offerings to stand out from the crowd in this highly competitive market. The client wanted to modernize its proprietary investment portal by making it more flexible, comprehensive, and compliant with industry-specific guidelines. Solution

Our client already had an R & D department focused on developing digital solutions in the areas of asset management, investments, loans, insurance and more. In turn, Innowise Group was tasked with developing a back-office application for investments that could be extended with new features (for web/mobile applications, localizations, etc.) as needed. Together with the client's internal specialists, we developed an integrated investment platform with a set of microservices to facilitate the management of financial assets.

Results

Innowise Group developed an investment portal that provides information on users' investment portfolios, statistics on asset distribution and changes in value, and includes information on deposits, stocks, bonds, retirement savings and more. In addition to updating the user interface, the project team introduced both user and administrator roles. Solution

Specifically, Andersen had to manually configure the Varnish web accelerator to improve caching, delete over 6 million erroneous or incomplete entries from the OTT platform's database, and implement sufficient DDoS protection by writing custom scripts for the Nginx server.

The Andersen DevOps team worked to optimize the cost of Winners' cloud infrastructure by automating routine operations and developing cloud monitoring and alerting tools. These tools allowed the team to monitor the system to quickly detect issues, ensure system uptime and service level availability, and quickly respond to system performance issues before they could impact the customer experience.
